A first venture into the Northern Vets League and a mid week meeting at the Commonwealth Games facilities of Sportcity Manchester. On a scorching hot (25c) evening I ran the 800m (2.48) and bronze in the V50 age group (!), the 3,000m and a 200m all in the space of ninety minutes!
A really friendly event with lots of support from the other athletes, I will definitely be back.
