“Not The Longer Leg”

 Rather than risking the conditions at Lamb's Longer Leg I opted to keep much lower but still felt the full force of the snow and mist on a very "quiet" Sunday morning seven miler.

“Woodbank Park XC”

Back to Woodbank Park for the Manchester XC League and a great but very muddy course with a hill that required walking only! Six tough miles finished in 1.00.41

“Cheshire XC Champs At Delamere”

 Tough and muddy seven miler for the annual county championship. Found it really tough through the muddy flat sections to finish in 67.10.

“Over The Bowstones”

Last day and last race of the year, the excellent Bowstones Fell Race. Just shy of seven miles climbing from Higher Poynton through Lyme Park and across to The Cage with a super fast two mile descent to the finish. Run in sunny breezy weather I was very happy to get round in seventy one minutes, although over four minutes slower than 2016!
